It's Been So Long.......

I've done so well with this blog up until a few weeks ago.  We're screaming toward Phil's surgery this week.  I am helping do the wedding of Phil's nephew Ryan and his fiance Erica.  I am happy to help, but it is way more work than what I thought.  I did some quick brainstorming and consulting with Shawn, who is doing weddings on the side and we came up with a plan.  Donna and I have been shopping for stuff, and my house has turned into wedding central.  Been making flower balls...let me share some of it.  These are flower balls that are going to be suspended from the ceiling and put into some trees made of curly willow that will have hanging votives.  These pictures don't do these justice.  I hope it all comes together

Unfortunately, this has left no time for scrapping.  I am in withdrawals.  Here are some things I did before going into full wedding mode.

Britton went to football camp last week.  He had such a great time and here is some of his fun.  He went on and on about how great it was.  Here he is with some new friends he made.

He's driving us nuts with the cell phone though.  He's texting incessantly.  How do you get them to stop texting and socialize for real?  Agghh.

Don't have much else to say now because wedding decorations must continue.

This has been a rough week.  It's ok and I'll survive, but I am happy that it's Saturday and I'm sitting in my bed with a steaming cup of coffee, watching TV, surfin' the net and blogging.  

Phil left early this morning to go see Indycar races. As a result, the girls are coming over tonight!!  I need to finalize my menu and go to the store.  I am headed for a pedicure, a car wash, to buy Sims 3, He's Just Not that Into You, a file box, paint to retouch my bedroom walls, a frame, a birthday present, a baby shower present, and two wedding presents.  Agghhh...so much to do and so little time.  I need to get off the computer and hop to it.
