My life has been one big ol' whirlwind the last few weeks. I left off with working two weekends straight on the wedding. The weekend of the 4th of July was nothing but wedding. I had Donna, Whitney, Shawn and her sister over on the 3rd. We worked ALL day and got a lot done. The next day (yes, the 4th), Donna and I went out shopping for the rest of the stuff we needed and went back to her house to work on everything some more. Throughout last week we worked really hard getting everything finished. When Shawn started working on the flowers, we realized we didn't have enough and went out at lunch on Friday to get more for the table decorations.
I flew out the door right after work to go handle rehearsal. From there, to the rehearsal dinner, then back to the club to cover chairs and begin decorating. We stayed 'til about 12:30-12:40. We got to bed after 1 and then we were back up and out the door by 7. We worked straight through until about 1:30. We went back and got ready and I was back out the door by 2:10 to oversee pictures, etc. All in all it worked out, but I didn't get home until 10:00 p.m. So tiring but rewarding.
The wedding was so beautiful. Everyone was talking about it and I felt like a real wedding coordinator. I finally had a glimpse of what a fun job could be.
Here are a few of the highlights.
In other news, Phil had his surgery. It was successful and with any luck, maybe we will have a little bundle of joy in the future.
I've seen Transformers II since last post and The Proposal with the girls last weekend. So funny.
Britton is leaving Thursday for a youth group trip and will be gone all weekend. This will give Phil and I some alone time. Hopefully, we'll get to have some fun.
I guess that's all for now.
