Waffle House and Walmart

You know, when I married my husband and moved to this small town of 1000 people, I had no idea that my Friday nights would consist of dates to the local Waffle House.  Seriously, I have worked so hard this week.  I return home hoping to be whisked away for a romantic sushi dinner, and my husband tells me he WANTS to go to the Waffle House.  Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good waffle and The Waffle House (and yes, you must say The Waffle House...much more hillbilly) here is good.  It's not the cleanest place I've ever been.

So we have our waffles, and then go to The Walmart (yes, again The Walmart has much more effect) to just go.  We didn't really need anything.  We just walked around looking.  OMG...I am officially a hillbilly bumpkin.  The sad part is the only reason we weren't at the local High School football game is that it was an away game.  The even sadder part is that even though I live in a small town, we're 15 miles away from a larger town with lots of restaurant and date choices.  I'm just saying.

In other news, Britton returned to school today.  He made it all day and is doing much better. Just a residual cough left.  With that, I got a call from one of my neighbors and her kids have swine flue.  Thankfully, Britton was given some extremely strong antibiotics and the doctor told us not to worry about the flu.  I hope that is the case.

I am happy for a long weekend, but next week is Court week so I'm not looking forward to it...but at least it's a short week.

Here are the few latest layouts...I really have been a scrapping fool this week.

LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday weekend.  I have to say Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this weekend.  Love you.

  1. Tagnia, I hear you on the date night -- our frequent "date night spot" is The Truck Stop -- hey, they have great omelets, hashbrowns and cheeseburgers! LOL

Those are great layouts -- I really like your scrapping style.
